Exactly. I have to wonder if what we are seeing is the beginning of an attempt by a desperate political class to harness what, from their point of view, must appear to be an out of control medium, the Internet.
The common man used the Internet, and Free Republic certainly played a role, in the defeat of the globalists' "must have" immigration legislation. I don't doubt that people in high places were not amused.
