Yeah, so this is a public forum.

You say that intemperate posting is OK among "FRiends on our turf," that's fine -- your point is well-taken.

But you cannot at the same time expect that outsiders looking in at this public forum will interpret those posts the same way that your FRiends will; nor can you legitimately complain when they form a different opinion based on what they see (or when they find what they're hunting for).

And, we don’t parade around in our birthday suits—mostly. But it’s still home and we have a right to act like we are home.

But at the same time, FR has a fair bit of influence on the national political scene. It's a public forum, which means we live in a glass house. Which means that folks can and do pay attention to how we act at home.

I would not think much of patriots who had to vet their wording through 12 layers of globalist controlled media censors before posting.

Nor would I -- and I'm not suggesting that, anyway. On the other hand, I think the fact that we live in a glass house might convince folks to exercise a little decorum. With a little thought, one can make a strong point without throwing red meat to the wolves. And that little bit of extra thought might even make for a more effective point.

You will be forever disappointed because we will always have trolls and agent provocateurs working hard to slip in red meat for the useful media idiots to exploit.

To the perfect, all things are rotten.

There can be no question that the "r" in your screen name stands for republican.

IYO, "FR has a fair bit of influence on the national political scene" so now we should be all worried about "outsiders looking in", "how we act at home", "throwing red meat to the wolves".....

Let the FReepin' outsiders join up and make this their home too and if all they can bring themselves to do is look in, screw 'em, just keep looking in.

Just who or what are these FReepin' "wolves" you're talking about and why should Freepers cower away from the "red meat" and starve while they blatantly lie and gorge themselves at the kill?

Oh no! Your reputation may be dragged through the mud by the lies the, currently influential, wolves will present about your pack in an attempt to drag the reputation of the pack through the mud.

Sounds like the majority of republicans in the federal government to me and look what that type of behavior has earned them in the long run.

I’m a bit torn per your perspective.

I agree that wisdom and wise, brief, dense (weighty) few words can be much more effective.

I doubt we have a host of such writers close to that perfection hereon . . . and I doubt we’re training them in droves.

It is kind of a . . . big somewhat contentious family here. And we are prone to letting lots hang out all over the place.

But durn it, we are OUR family and it is our turf even if we live in an exposed glass house. I’m not in favor of kowtowing to their standards or sensibilities. Ours are quite fine enough.

They can get used to our standards and sensibilities and choose to see things in our context or lie like the blazes about us. Of course, they will choose the latter. No surprise there.

But this business of couching things so that the pharisees will be happy is an exercised doomed in futility and silly to begin with.

The pharisees will NEVER be happy with us. They will NEVER see things properly—much less properly in context etc.

They do NOT CARE about reality, facts, history, truth, righteousness, sanity, The Republic or mom or apple pie.

They are deluded from hell and hell bent toward globalism and thinking they are headed for Nirvana. The Mother of all Surprises awaits them at their destination.

But I do NOT, prayerfully as long as JimRob has breath and ability—I do NOT have to kowtow my patriotic fierceness in the face of their tongue wagging duplicities, hypocricies, treasons, insanities, hideocies . . . GRRRR.

We have gotten where we are largely because TOO FEW PATRIOTIC AMERICANS CARED TOO LITTLE TO BOTHER AT ALL, MUCH LESS TO FIERCELY STAND UP FOR THE CONSTITUTION, THE REPUBLIC, GOD, COUNTRY, THE FAMILY AND RIGHT.

If anything, I’d rather have the volume higher than wimpier.

Yeah, wisdom is wise. No joke there. True.

But I’d rather have 10 patriots fiercely giving it their best shot, however imperfectly, than 100 giving it a PC twist designed to impress their college English prof and the PC censors.

The PC censors will ALWAYS find something to pick and scream about. Trying to please the pharisees is an exercise in stupidity as well as futility. Christ Himself was harshest with them. He NEVER tried to please THEM. He NEVER tried to do things THEIR WAY according to their sensibilities.

HE ALWAYS CUT CATTYWUMPUS ACROSS THEIR SENSIBILITIES. May we continue to do the same thing with all those clucking hypocrites who are so determined to be destructive to our Republic, our Constitution and our way of life.

I’m really not against wise potent words. I love wisdom and wise words in behalf of our freedoms, FR, The Republic, The Constitution etc.

But 100 pounds of passion can make up for a good bit of lack in the wisdom department.

Most folks hereon are not writers by profession. We just stumble along expressing ourselves more or less as we would in private letters; over the back fence etc. . . . with some eye to Jim’s wise standards.

Much of the time, our passion is what carries the punch in what we have to say. It is not our oratory.

You think the other side worries about their spit and polish?

They spew all kinds of utter filth, lies, broadside distortions etc. 24/7 and care not a twit’s worth, a gnat’s fart’s worth about who cares what about it.

I have 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000% need to cater to their duplicitous hypocritical sensibilities.

Will middle of the roaders we might persuade be sometimes repulsed by some passionate FREEPERS’S hasty wording? Probably.

But more would be left on their couches sucking rocks and liberal filthy propaganda 24/7 BY OUR WIMPY, PASSIVE, SUPER KOSHER PC wording.

I still vote for passion over PC any and every day 24/7.
