I wanted to not give into the urge to give as good as I got, but unfortunately it may be the only way to communicate since yeterday's post seems to have failed. Since you espouse sweeping generalizations, and arrogant assuptions, let me set you straight. I AM a conservative. You talk about "wild steroptypes and sweeping generalizations", yet that is exactly what you engaged in. You painted me as "Miss Manners" with an agenda to turn "us conservatives" into "Aunt Bee". I am by no means Miss Manners. However, my "conservative" parents did raise me to have manners. You must have missed that lesson. Or perhaps you think that conservatives should be rude. Funny, I thought that was the mark of a liberal/leftist. By the way, what was wrong with Aunt Bee? Or the Andy Griffith Show? They espouse American values...manners, respect, standing up for right, family, faith, etc. It is interesting that you slam that. BTW, how was that pie?
