That news piece was B.S. I have been coming to FR for years, and have never seen a KKK posting, or anything associated with it. Ditto for any neo-nazi group. Such postings would last about a nanosecond before a moderator would yank them or a legion of FReepers would excoriate the poster. Being pro-American sovereignty and against an invasion of illegal criminals is not hateful, it is survival.

It was prepared by the local reporter for the news dept of a station of Fox Broadcasting, admittedly a subsidiary of News Corporation, which also owns Fox News (FNC).
Just wanted to make sure people don’t protest to the wrong company.

Obviosuly, either the fella reporting the story or the people running the station are Bill Hillary butt-kissers who just happen to have a major grudge against people who are using this website to blow the whistle on the Clintons and the Democrats and their unethical and illegal and goonish activities. You know? nobody forces anyone to vsits website they don't want. It seems as though some people are looking for something to be offended by andh then trying to shut it down.
Bill O'Reilly is obviously the goofball that instigated this Bravo Sierra and Cluster Foxtrot. This fella as far as I'm concerned has lost all credibility as a legitimate news person.

That was in February of 2006.
In May of this year, according to news reports, somebody "set a fire" at the Gaithersburg illegal day labor trailer; a fire that had gone out on its own by the time that Montgomery County Fire crews arrived. Again according to news reports, a "floor board" had to be replaced on the trailer. I have to wonder if the "floor board" was maybe a step at the trailer door, which sounds much more like a teenage firebug than actions of the Klan, Nazis or other hate group.
And it is unconscionable that CASA, Torres, and Fox5 News (thanks to O'Reilly's lying rant that we are a hate site) have collaborated to imply that FR is among the ranks of the Klan and Nazis, as a hate group, and also implying that an 18 month old thread on FR is linked to the arson in May.
I really hate liars.
Oh stop it dude, you need to wake up and stop acting like a left wing lunatic. Overall Fox is our ALLY. Only a small percentage of their reporting is liberal compared to the vast majority on NBC and the others.
Harold Ford was on Hannity’s Tuesday radio show and said something about FR being a hate site. Actually he adopted O’Reilly’s position from their discussion last week. And Hannity put up a weak defense, noting that he’d been attacked on FR but that we’re not as bad as Kos.
I didn't say FR is a hate site. I was exploring DLR's metaphor. "Loose lips sink ships" is a WWII counterintelligence phrase that encourages military and civilian alike to keep secrets lest they be overheard and exploited by Axis agents. Its use in this context implies that there are secrets to be kept. It is a tacit admission that, however unfortunate, Fox 5's characterization was correct. DLR's admonition was probably not chosen with this conclusion in mind, but I think it is the most evident conclusion to one who is willing to follow the metaphor to its logical end.
Now, I should like to add that, even if I did think that FR was a hate site, I could post here while remaining faithful to my moral beliefs. I am not morally obligated to avoid distasteful websites. If FR was a hate site, I'd probably post here more, since I love riling up bigots and extremists who pervert the ideas of the great conservative thinkers into something unrecognizable and dangerous.
Finally, let's not forget this. Real hate sites have attempted to infiltrate FR in the past. Stormfront conducted their 2004 attempt openly, which is why it failed. Who knows what they've accomplished in secret? Perhaps this explains the level of vitriol that all too often appears on this site. Yesterday, a member called another member and all libertarians "faggots, junkies, and pervert freaks." There are occasional calls for religious proscriptions, nuclear attacks against shrines, and genocide in the Middle East. It shouldn't take an ACLU lawyer to see how such statements could be construed negatively by the media.

The reporter appears as a willing accomplice to a hit piece and trying to group FR (which they label "conservative") in with neo-Nazi, Klan, and Skinhead hate web sites.
All at the behest of this CASA of Maryland leader Torres, a vicious bully, who had a running feud with the Minutemen and apparently battled local citizen opposition to start a new day labor center, before FR started verbally criticizing veiled threats that Torres made against the children of Minutemen.
A timeline:
Feb 22, 2006 CASA threatens to take actions against the Minutemen including picketing schools that children of Minutemen attend. CASA leader Torres said: ‘‘Then we are going to picket their [the Minutemen] houses, and the schools of their kids, and go to their work.” Original newspaper story here.

The media has one very interesting hobby. They will see an obvious problem and try to make seem less obvious. It’s almost like a game. They have done this will illegal immigration. The media, which LOVES statistics, is unwilling to go that route with ilegals and crime. The numbers are staggering. Their strategy is to make everyone who oppose illegal immigration become a Latino-hater. Drooling, toothless yahoos wandering the woods hunting Mexicans with their “shootin arns”. The media is aware that the American people would recoil at the statistics so they keep them well under wraps.
The problem? The Internet. Too many people are going outside the box. The media’s only hope is to slander the internet as Klan central. By next week, Jim Robinson will be some scraggly bearded stumpkicker smoking a corn cob pipe next to his still. A dangerous felon with a truck full of dynamite he wants to use to blow a Hispanic day care.
Before Clinton became President, the media’s favorite story was the sex life of a politician. Clinton robbed them of that joy. They have been soulless pimps ever since. Truth is irrelevant because they are in the Kingmaker and Kingbreaker business by any means necessary. This is made worse by Hillary running for office because the sexy headline elephant in the living room is off the table. Her husband was impeached for lying about a sexual affair with a young intern during a sexual harassment trial where he was the perp. Dear Lord, the media would massacre a room full of kittens to get a story like that on a Republican.
