where does that say they are illegal?? Do you not realize you can legally work here if you are a citizen elsewhere? Green cards, work visas...
Please, until your statement is a fact, do perpetuate that rumor.

I read it. I see nothing in that article that says the three Mexican miners were here illegally.

For any who may have not seen it, here is a list of the original six trapped miners:

-Manuel Sanchez, 42, father of four
-Kerry Allred, 57, veteran miner
-Luis Hernandez, 23, father of 12-month old daughter
-Carlos Payan, in his 20s, from Sinaloa, Mexico
-Brandon Phillips, 24, Orangeville, UT, started working in the coal mine 3 weeks ago
-Don Erickson, 50, left auto shop job for better pay in the mine

Three have Hispanic last names. However, I haven’t read anything that definitively states that any of them are illegal.
