Your issue appears to be that you want a president that will have a litmus test on abortion.

I'd prefer a president that asks only one question of a USSC nominee "Does the Constituion mean what it says"?

Under that scenario, you could have an abortionist as president...who nominates a judge that overturns Roe v Wade.

Social conservatives seem blind to that fact. They would throw the baby out with the bath water.
