Just lucky. I had been looking for baby stuff and came to the site before getting off the computer. I have found a beautiful round bassinet with white eyelet bedding and a crib with a canopy. We may go out shopping this weekend if it cools off some. I do not like these days of over 100. See y’all later.
Thanks, jonny .. hope you'll have a fun and relaxing weekend. And I hope the Bushes are in a relaxed and celebratory mood in Crawford, anticipating the upcoming wedding plans .. maybe Jenna and her beau are there, too, hopefully.
I wonder if the wedding will be in Crawford, as W imagined.
He has stopped the truck this time to show off the "cathedral," a column of limestone steps that were carved by water but look handmade. A nearly perfect arch of branches roofs the long aisle.
"I told my daughter, 'This is where the audience will sit,'" says Bush about some imaginary wedding in Jenna's future. "The audience will stand there. You and I will stand here, and the preacher will stand here." A gentle slip of water rolls over the steps and his cowboy boots. "Isn't it spectacular?" he says. "You can imagine when all these trees are budded out in the spring, it's pretty dramatic. The thing about this in here is that it's hard to believe you're in Texas."
W loves his Prairie Chapel ...
There's an air show here this weekend, and the majestic aeronautics of the U.S. Air Force's Thunder Birds were screaming overhead today. I'm just blocks from where they'll perform this weekend and are practicing today. WooHoo .. I love them ... goosebumps! But the thing that always chilled me the most was seeing the ground show .. the tradition and ceremony between the pilots and their crew at the start of the show... totally spine tingling.
I urge anyone attending one of their shows to try to get up front to see the ground show .. it's fabulous.
I'm so we're losing Tony Snow at the WH .. God love him. I totally understand his reasoning. He's been a mighty warrior for this WH. He's so real and wonderfully human and emotional in his interview with David Gregory. You can see how dearly he treasures his family. It's here, if anyone missed it.
Hope W, Laura and the family have a peaceful, if brief, break from the never-ending storms. God bless them and our awesome troops.
