What is the cutoff for child abuse that concerns you?
I draw the line when the abuse causes them to become so developmentally disabled that they grow up to log on to a presumably limited government right wing forum to advocate statism.
The signs of parental failure are not very complicated...if your daughter ends up dancing on a pole...you have failed as a parent.
If your son logs onto DU or Daily Kos, you have failed. If they log on to FR and advocate social engineering and don't know that they belong on DU or Daily Kos, they are even bigger failures.
It almost makes you wish that the worst thing your kids would ever do is smoke cigarettes, huh?
