In the end there is but one judge. Some like to think they can be the judge while here on earth believing they can enforce what they conceive as the creator’s intent. That’s where all the trouble begins.
I take these words to heart. “Judge not lest you be judged.” These words seem perfectly clear to me. I am not to judge others, and others are not to judge me. Since the Lord made clear this is his duty. Anyone on earth attempting to take his place hasn’t really ever understood him much less spoken to him...much less honors him. Since obviously they think themselves smarter than him.
Of course, there are rules in society where man must pass judgment upon men and women who are murderers, robbers, and rapists. At the same time, I have a wonderful feeling there are millions of honorable soldiers who also happened to smoke and who subsequently died tragically on the battlefield defending our freedoms who are in heaven today.
