No need to apologize. I never believe what Hollywood says. I just look at their movies as entertainment, nothing more. I do enjoy ancient history though. I have been told that people think I lived during the Roman days. Their history is of great interest to me. I wish that more of their history was recorded.
I stumbled across a great documentary at the library. It is a recent work based on forensics, satelite imagery, and a host of other sciences to debunk the long held notion of a “Dark Age”. Instead, it shows a rather smooth progression from Roman technology in the ancient world. I’ll make a note to myself and forward the title when I find it. If you like Roman history, you’ll love this because it deals heavily with the Roman influence on early Britain.
