I know why God commanded it, because He explains it in the Bible. I have no argument with God. My argument was with the person who could not handle the truth about his/her own religion and wanted to start treating Jesus as though He were not the God of the Old Testament. He himself said, "Before Abraham was, I AM." Secondly, my point, which I must now address to you, is if you want to argue scripture, find another thread. This is about an historical event, not the philosophies of men.

My question was simple and a result of your two statements. Both of which fall under "philosophies".

It didn't include “The Last Temptation of Christ”, “The DaVinci Code”, “Fahrenheit 911” or "Anyone ever heard of Salem?".

I'd suggest that you refrain from posting articles if you are going to have a chip on your shoulder and be defensive.
