Oh for God's sake. 
The economy wasn't better in the 90's.  The unemployment rate was higher compared to today. 

What knack for international diplomacy?  Bosnia?  North Korea?  Palestinian & Israeli problem?  Mogadishu?  Ask a member of the Tutsi or Hutu tribes in Rwanda what they think of his "knack for international diplomacy."  They only killed around 800,000 in 89 days while Clinton apparently displayed this knack.

Let's consider Bill's diplomatic knack in Cuba.  Clinton agreed Sep. 1994 to allow 20,000 Cubans to immigrate per year if Castro took steps to stop the exodus from Cuba that began with the withdrawal of Russian aid and troops in 1992. Castro responded by having Cuban MiGs shoot down two planes of the Brothers to the Rescue civilian group, causing Congress to pass the Helms-Burton bill to impose economic sanctions and allow Americans to sue foreign companies doing business with properties confiscated by Castro.  Great knack Bill.

His knack included appointing Madeleine Albright as Sec. State.

Considering the money the Democrats get from the unions, including all government unions, money that is stolen from the members, Hollywood propaganda both in films and on TV, the print media, consultants that lie to the people, and their total lack of ethics it is a wonder they don’t control the government forever. It is also obvious why they wanted “Campaign Finance Reform” to silence even the slightest opposition. They now want the “Fairness Doctrine” for the same reason.
