I’m visualizing the picture of Adolf Hitler standing before an adoring Reichstag around the time the Enabling Act was passed. Anyone have that to post?

This tyrant is Venezuela’s version of Fidel Castro.

Yes. On the other hand, the path he took to reach his power has more in common with Adolf Hitler. First gets popularly elected, intimidates his opposition, and secures absolute power.

Interesting thread - they seem confused, I wonder why. /s
Here's a post that reinforces my belief that DU posters are made up of teenagers, extremely extreme leftists, and conservative trolls. Seems this guy's still in high school, probably some "progressive" one in Ithica or Seattle.
Nonsense. Socialism is whatever they guy you don't like advocates.
Nobody pays any attention to the definitions - it's the labels that are important.
Chavez is a socialist - therefore, he's bad.
Universal healthcare is socialist - therefore, it's bad.
Social Security is socialist - therefore, it's bad.
Couldn't possibly be that they are all actually bona fide examples of socialism. The ignorance is staggering.
