There is a valid case for that point, I’d agree. I would also say that the crossings between the checkpoints would deminish considerably if 50% of those crossing ceased to exist during any given week.

Cars & trucks entering the nation should be registered showing a valid document of ownership, and the address of the owner. Then, if a terrorist attack involving that vehicle occurred, you could go right to the owner’s house and introduce them to the desert in between border crossings, and the requisite vaporization.

That same policy should be implemented across Iraq.

If a truck were stolen in Iraq, the owner would report it within a nano-second to deny guilt. That would work once. Just once. Then the truck would go an a terrorist alert.

Put some mercs out there. Give them $1000 dollars a head for people crossing in between borders. if they have weapons on them, find out where they lived and arrest every family member and associate for the duration of terrorism.

This war is for keeps.
