It is long past time to put a stop to politicians using the Catholic Church and its organizations to pass themselves off as Catholic in order to get votes -- when they don't believe in the most basic tenets of the Church and vote against them at every opportunity.
It's false advertising of the worst kind and creates a scandal in the Church.
“This is the correct result. I think once the issue was put plainly to them (by the protestors earlier this week) the KC had no choice but to do this.”
This has actually been the long-standing policy of the Order.
