I don’t think that these three dead college kids, or the raped five year-old girl had anything to do with establishing the “sanctuary” city. If the rapists and murders were restricting their violence to those Americans who involved with supporting illegal aliens, that would be an altogether different thing.
“I dont think that these three dead college kids, or the raped five
year-old girl had anything to do with establishing the sanctuary city.”
I wasn’t “blaming the specific victims”.
More specifically, I meant that “sanctuary cities” deserve the bad
rap they get for crime and lawlessness.
And as the politicians and general populace that FACILITATE the acts
of crimaliens don’t change course, they bear a fair amount of culpability
for acts such as the ones in Newark.
Some cities decide to adopt a demographic of illegal immigrants
which often entails populating the city with a whole new criminal class.
Thus the city, collectively, gets what it deserves.
And in the case of Newark, doesn’t even have the fig-leaf excuse of
showing they were actively trying to weed out the “crimaliens”
from the otherwise law-abiding alien population.
It’s beyond sad that this caused the death of what sounds like three
decent kids and the serious injury to another.
