Oh no...he's my favorite.

I was getting a little worried, but this essay means he's coming out swinging.

Very Reaganesque.

At a minimum, he would clean up the sanctuary city....gang/crime-wise. And the ones that are peaceful will be registered and documented as alien-residents...with hopefully assorted ways they could become citizens.

We get the best of both worlds.

No person breaking into this nation deserves citizenship. If one came here illegally, that one must leave and if that one returns it can only be via legal channels. Amnesty given to an illegal is a violation of common sense. Rewarding a law breaker does not make the law breaker act legally. Remember Billy the Kid? Once illegal always illegal!

In other words, in his own words, he would “figure out some way to make some differentiation between the kind of people that we have here” and give them “aspirations of citizenship”.

Giving ANY illegal aliens AMNESTY, is hardly “coming out swinging”.
