In a world that was not so far out of kilter a state or city government that refused to support the enforcement of federal law would lose all federal funding.

In a world that was not so far out of kilter, there wouldn't be such a thing as "federal funding."

Have we become so accustomed to what is sometimes called "creeping socialism" that we've grown to accept it as the cost of doing business???

In a word, YES. Not only have we come to accept it as a cost doing business we now find that we’re considered racist if we express unhappiness with how the situation has been allowed to grow to such levels.

I’m pretty sure the Left’s plan was to keep increasing the number of people slopping at the public trough that by the time it became onerous enough for everyone to reset it the numbers would preclude doing anything about it. Looks to me like they are on the verge of doing just that.

I have no idea how to restore this country to its original greatness, but I sincerely fear that if something isn’t done we will go the way of history’s other great civilizations.
