The problem with the fence is that it will work, that’s why they fear it. Bush’s crowd enjoys the short term profits of depressed wage rates and diminishing the “American lifestyle.” If the wall didn’t work they’d gladly give it to appease us “yahoos.”

This is far from over. Bush is crazy on this subject...an arrogant, globalist elitist that loves Mexicans to the point of stabbing his own people in the back over them.

I have no regard whatsoever for 750 miles of fence.

We have roughly 4000 miles of border and thousands more miles of coast.

I want it totally controlled.

My ancestors were greeted at Ellis Island where they were asked to sign their X next to the name the government official thought he heard. There are no ports of entry along the Mexican border, wouldn’t that be the first step? Wouldn’t it be better if we registered each immigrant as they sought to come in rather than rounding them up to deport them, thereby threatening the well-being of our industries? We have full employment with 13 million illegal immigrants, the government goofed but no one is being held accountable.

Then direct your efforts where they need to be directed, you are blaming the wrong person. Bush signed off on the border fence, Congress has not appropriated all the funds for it...only about enough for 100 miles. They, not Bush, are the only ones that can issue the funding to build the fence, that is the way it works.

P.S. The first one on here that says Bush can issue an EO for this is going to get slapped upside the head with a Civics 101 textbook.
