Rather than base a Presidency on the satisfaction of interest groups, I will work to shape an America where our citizens are more independent of government the day I leave the White House than when I take office.

I absolutely LOVE this statement from you. This is one of your greatest quotes that America can catch onto!

Sir, Thank you for your service to the country and for answering questions here. My question has to do with the UN.

As president how will you work to get the US out of the UN and get the UN out of the US?

Congressman Hunter,

Thank you for your service to this country as a soldier and congressman and particularly for your strong defense of innocent human life.

I am very impressed by your record and positions on issues of concern to Americans.

I hope you know you have many friends at Free Republic who hear your unique message and want you to stay in the presidential race despite the opposition’s hopes and rumors that you will drop out.

I agree with you that rebuilding the American manufacturing base is critical to social stability and national security. Related to this, the USA has a shortage of skilled craftsmen like plumbers and electricians.

While I agree with the national push for more academic rigor, it is obvious that not everyone can nor should attend college. Many students who might be very good with their hands often drop out of school from boredom or an inability to meet academic expectations.

As president, would you amend No Child Left Behind (NCLB) to add a high school vocational program with trade certification in lieu of state exam requirements?

Thank you & God bless you and your family.

I apologize if you are seeing this twice. I posted it to pissant before.

You need to find someone who can make that fit on a bumper sticker. Great sentiment. I think it used to be the Republican Party's platform.
