They're just jealous because they won't have the White House for at least 12 years after the departure of the Clinton criminals.

They're going to be past the unglued stage when the GOP wins in 2008, to a period in their psyches of just plain acceptance. Americans will not let Hillary or Obama take the reins of power. Any one of our top 3 candidates, Guiliani, Romney, or Thompson, will mop the floor against Hillary or Obama.

2-0 in Presidential campaigns, 2-1 in congressional years. Not bad in my opinion considering the massive lies and distortion of the left. How well did Billy Jeff’s guy do with a fawning and manipulative press?

The Libs could never wrap their minds around the fact that a man who they described as “a drunken frat boy, and stupid to boot” kicked their collective butts over and over... and over again. So they had to create the fiction of a Man Behind The Curtain.

Must get pretty lonely in the second-half, second-term for any President. All the people that you are most comfortable working with are long gone, leaving you with a bunch of comparative strangers.

“Anything but Victory”? This guy beat the Democrats every time they turned around. There’s no need for him to stick around. I hope he has a great retirement and make as much as Clinton does giving speeches. Best of luck to him and his family.....they deserve it.

She looks pregnant?

Did bill pay for an abortion?

Or did she just specialize in oral sex - you know sex that ins’t sex - according to Clinton.

Rove may be leaving the White House, but do you think for a moment that he does so in retirement. He has done all he can in mapping presidential strategy up to 2008, and the path is clear, depending on what happens both domestically and internationally.

Karl has left to be in a venue where he is much more useful in helping get a Republican president elected. The Republican machine will now take on an interesting dynamic of struggle between the RINOplasts, and the conservative wing of the RNC. It will happen quietly, as the conservative wing defines what the nation is facing in the world, Iran figuring prominantly in those deliberations, as well as the illegal alien issue.

And hanging in the balance , is the future of our nation and its freedom.

I’m sure Monica has used that same excuse when looking into the mirror. It’s gotta be that Spandex which is making her look to damn fat. (Couldn’t possibly be the actual fat itself)

I’m sorry, but despite how horribly the GOP did in 2006 Rove is still one of the greatest political achievers of all time. He won three consecutive Congressional elections, two while a WH incumbent!!

And without the help of Duke Cunningham and Mark Foley he would have been 3-for-3 in winning Congress and the Senate (do we blame Rove for the macaca fiasco?). I think Rove was wrong on a lot of stuff in the last two years but I also think that he has been bunkered down so much with FitzSchumer out there that he has been essentially neutered.

Rove, when he was allowed to actually do his job, was better than anybody we’ve had since Lee Atwater. He will be missed and hopefully he will not stay quite.

Americans will not let Hillary or Obama take the reins of power.

I'd like to believe the American people were that smart, but I swore they would never elect a draft dodger either.

Socialism light or heavy? Bush has added to the entitlement culture. Bush has avoidedd dealing with immigration, and been on the wrong side when he did. I don't feel like he's done a lot to enhance our future freedom.

I guess treading water (R's) is better than drowning (D's)... but neither qualifies as swimming to the shore.

You see Clinton's handlers are all treated as genius's. Pretty-boy Stephanopolous is ABC's Washington editor, James Carville is on Meet the Press and other talking heads shows constantly, and is considered the guru. Even the horrible Donna Brazil who lost the only race she ran (Al Gores) is afforded respect by the MSM.

But Rove is treated like a criminal. What a pathetic joke the MSM is!

"Thus The Economist sums up what it calls "a new blow to an increasingly isolated White House," although, it adds, he "may have outlived his usefulness" (especially after the 2006 GOP drubbing)..."

This article is just more fantasizing from the left. 2006 was not a GOP "drubbing", more a historical correction, and not much of one by US standards. The rats do not have a veto-proof congress, they are stalemated on legislation and are reduced to foaming-at-the-mouth 'investigations'.

The WH is not 'isolated', it still has plenty of partners in congress; witness the ill-fated attempt at immigration reform. Dubya just got everything he asked for in the latest wiretap legislation, etc.

The left wants to believe so bad that they drove Rove off the ranch. Not even close.
