Information like that is a Good thing. Keep in mind Cops were on radiation alert this weekend and did their job. The fact that the driver took off running is not going to help.

Flori-DUH You're a little new for this sort of banter, cynnyc.

Yeah, maybe the box did once contain radioactive stuff, now it just has, say, jumper cables in it.

Well, I don’t think a terrorist would label their materials. Strange world nowdays though, so who knows.

Re the Youtube vid: The reporter sounds scared out of his mind. Hes making little sense- normal radiation levels but very high, taking no chances though the levels are normal but because of the high levels... To be honest, the reporter should be looking for another career. By any description, that was a terrible report.

"the father of the cars owner gave cops a plausible explanation for the box"
>>...and the senior Mr. Lukic's plausible explanation, for his son being in the possession of radioactive materials and fleeing the scene of an accident was ... what?
He was an overzealous fan of 1980s American movies:

I knew a guitarist who liked to put stickers in his guitar case, so I got him Biohazard, Radioactive Class III, Explosive A, and the like.
For all I know he’s still doing it, but imagine if he did a gig where someone saw the guitar case and called Homeland Security?
I used to use a dynamite box for storage but after a few “incidents” dropped the carton (a nice box too and got one that said Perdue Chicken. I used to put emergency gear in it.
And Edwards says it's just a bumper sticker- it's creeping into our lives!
