I don't lose sleep over whether the "six days" are literal or figurative, but I do believe that "Elohim spoke" and it was done. That said, I not only love physics and astronomy, but mathematics as well. I don't understand much, but what little I get totally fascinates me.

I reconcile all these very difficult questions this way: God is the creator of all things, including time. It is possible it was created to be ‘ancient’.
God’s fingerprints are all over deep space and time, another display of his infinancy.
You can still believe the Bible literally within this framework.
