Same here, I had heard of Duncan Hunter before he announced and felt he was one of the good guys, but knew very little about him. After he announced earlier this year, I set out to research him and really liked what I learned about him. Ever since, no one has been able to come up with anything negative about him that would cause me to change my mind. I haven’t been this excited about a candidate since voting for Ronald Reagan in 1980 as one of the Reagan democrats. Everyone says they are looking for the next Reagan. Duncan Hunter is as close as it gets.

Thank god for Free Republic and other sites like it. I had never heard of him until I joined. I’ve only been here about a month. I am so hooked, because I live near San Francisco, and I know very few people around here that feel the same way I do about politics. I didn’t get this way until I was married with children.

Trying to do the right thing is lonesome around here. It’s nice not to feel like a social pariah for my political and religious beliefs, and to be interacting with right-minded people.

Too bad my little Hunterheads can’t vote yet! : )

Hubby’s convinced though. I am working on the rest of our family and friends, and watching my children like a hawk, lest they be as deceived as I once was.

Hunter will turn America around. I cannot even picture anybody else right now. They’re all a bunch of posers!

I’m very excited about Hunter too! He is the only candidate we’ve ever actually sent money to. We cut off the RNC after the amnesty thing.
