Hunter's speech was well done, but the number of Hunter supporters up front to watch it was significantly less than any of the candidates (except John Cox who really doesn't count.) I don't agree with Hunter on trade issues but like him otherwise. If, as so far appears likely, he doesn't win the nomination and the GOP manages to win without him then Hunter deserves Cabinet consideration.

The official results are currently being delayed by the Cindy SheehanRon Paul campaign. If you judged "his" campaign by the acts of his alleged supporters today and his foreign policy comments rather than by the boilerplate libertarianism of the domestic part of his speech Mother Sheehan would be proud of him. Their claims of voting machine problems and alleging fraud are straight out of the Rat nutroots handout and every bit as credible.

You don't believe in fair trade practices between the US and other countries? Hunter has been falsely portrayed as a protectionist. He is not against free trade, he is against one-side agreements with the US on the losing side. He wants to make sure that we remain competive and on an equal playing field, so we don't wake up one day to find that nothing has a 'Made in the USA' label on it anymore.
