OK, now let’s hear you admit that Hunter either won or came in the top 3 of other straw polls, and beat Romney when he was outspent at least 2 - 1.

Why are you just focusing on the straw poll where Hunter didn’t have time to campaign, because he was working on Iraq issues to protect our national defense?

And hey, speaking of Romney, did you see this one of many Romney flip flops?

After refusing to endorse President Bush’s tax cuts when he was governor, Mitt Romney has now made them a central part of his presidential campaign, stirring accusations that he is changing his position to appeal to GOP primary voters.”

HANG ON TO YOUR WALLET. On 2nd thought, you won’t have to, because Romney will soon fizzle out.

Sure Hunter has done well in some other localized straw polls and I thought he’d do better in Ames based upon the print time he gets here on FR. I was sure there were a few hundred supporters out there waiting to vote for him. I’ve not said otherwise.

Ames is what it is, the biggie of the straw polls and has been for a few cycles. It’s the one that those who participate in do so as a feather in their campaign strategy should they do well. If they falter then there are consequences also. Sorry you don’t comprehend that.

Romney I hope does fizzle out but it will be further along the campaign trail than Hunter I’m afraid.
