Well I like Duncan Hunter a lot, actually.
I wanted him to place at the top of the one percenters.
I think he's one of the few candidates of any real substance, and unlike a lot of the guys on the GOP stage, he has a concise, serious, and articulate presidential projection.
However, for whatever reason he just cannot catch on.
Perhaps because he talks too much substance and not enough hyperbolic red meat, hollow platitudes, and sloganeering soundbites.
Anyways, no Duncan Hunter for you.
The notion that Hunter is any threat to Thompson at all is laughable.
How can a guy who gave it his best and still lost to him when he didn't even show up be any sort of threat?

This is the beginning of the end for him.
He'll be out of the race within a few weeks at the most.
You might as well get behind Fred before Mitt or Rudy runs away with the nomination.
We’ll see how ol’ FRed’s record holds up once he’s come out from hiding behind Hannity’s skirt. If the sheeple won't get behind the media-annointed front runners Guilani and McCain, then maybe they can be stampeded behind Fred. Heaven forbid that the sheeple should think for themselves and vote for a real conservative like Duncan Hunter.
