My thoughts exactly. If a doctor can be held liable for a bad outcome/botched procedure why can't the courts be held to the same standards?

Obvious answer. All elective offices are packed with lawyers protecting their turf.

And yet, we continue to elect mostly lawyers to high public office.

This is exactly why some prisons are called "club fed".....you don't think that the "officials" in charge of making the laws are going to risk going to a real prison in payment for the frauds that they can't cover up sufficiently.

Every congressman, senator, executive dept, and justice dept "official" are a hair's breadth from prosecution and incarceration.....sometimes for nothing more than another "official" is pissed at them.
