Woohoo! I was selected to win a free Apple Iphone! Three times!

If the first prize was an AK, I would have given them my email address.

Speaking of Duct tape uses - a computer case--

----

Duct Tape Server was built entirely from four rolls of gray Nashua duct tape, a quarter roll of translucent 3M duct tape, and these computer components:

* Pentium P4 2.4 GHz

* Intel SFF Motherboard

* 1GB twinned DDR RAM

* 80GB SATA HDD

* 350W PSU

* CDROM

* 2 80mm LED fans

And I think, if my feeble mind is still somewhat alert, I knew someone that owned one. Often wondered what that “thingy” hanging below the barrel was for. Of course, the owner has long ago gone from my memory. ;-)

He probably meant a 37MM flare launcher. :)

Yeah, the AK has it’s grenade launcher attachment, but ours is better. Now it’s in the process of being replaced by one that goes to 11.

http://www.defenseindustrydaily.com/usmcs-new-m32s-hitting-the-field-02042/

“While high-tech weapons items get a lot of billing, the Global War on Terror is very much an infantry war. Firepower overmatch matters in those situations. Enter the US Marine Corps’ newest weapon, recently introduced to Regimental Combat Team 5, based in Camp Fallujah: the M-32 six-shot 40mm grenade launcher. During an annual symposium, Marine gunners decided an improvement was needed over the old M203 one-shot launchers that mount under their M4 or M16 rifles. The M-32 won out, and each Marine battalion will field them as an experimental weapon.

A September 2005 DID article covered the popularity of 40mm grenade systems on the modern battlefield. The M-32 is a modified Milkor MGL-140 with additional features like the buttstock, sights, foregrip, et. al. It can put all 6 rounds on target in under 3 seconds, and can fire “normal” M433 40mm grenades or specialty rounds. Specialty rounds include HELLHOUND rounds with twice the lethal radius of the M433, which will breach doors and kill anything behind them; DRACO thermobaric rounds; and even HUNTIR rounds with cameras in them that descend on a parachute and send back video. The USMC will join the Brazilian, Italian and South African militaries as MGL-140 customers, and Defense Review notes that the USMC has ordered 9,000 of them.”

How bizarre. Well at least they let you have FR, and that gives you indirect access to everything.

AK-47 Grenade Launcher

And just a few days ago, some idiot was giving me grief because I posted a picture of a bunch of common chemicals, available at any hardware store, claiming that terrorists would be forwarding my picture all over the world.

I expect this little comment to be reviewed by comparably minuscule intellects.

At this time of night, they're probably the kind that listens to Coast to Coast (and believes what they hear, LOL).

If it does, it is probably accurate up to 3 feet to be consistent with the 47.

That is not any part of the Kalashnikov family of small arms!!! That is most definitely the Mr. Potato-head of modern military small arms

The AK-47 is not a National match target rifle . It was never intended to be .
It was designed by a Russian army tank sergeant to be absolutely reliable in conditions that are beyond appalling .

The AK-47 while not a target match rifle is plenty accurate to minute of bad guy as opposed to sub-minute of angle , This is good enough for draftee armies which the weapon was originally designed for.

Ummmm. I know that.

It was meant as a joke. Most people understood that.

Just as this is a spoof:

Sure. It can have one under the barrel and there is a Yugo configuration that has a nato grenade launcher on the barrel
