This took place a couple miles away from our home. Thankfully, it's not typical of the folks who live in our community. Low-life scum, in my book.
If not for the malpractice settlement, they'd still be living in a row home in Philadelphia, and unlikely he'd be buying himself a younger wife from Morocco.

I have to say, some of the comments to the article on the CBS site are pretty racist and vile. They wouldn’t last a minute on FR (are you taking notes, Bill O’Reilly?).

The suspect even accused the other wife and her husband of being involved in terrorism through emails. I wonder if CAIR and their ilk will accuse her of anti-muslim statements?

Yikes. I thought you had posted a picture of the husband by mistake, but that’s actually a woman.

Makes one wonder if their daughter died from medical malpractice or from something the parents did.

Amazing that Ibrahim Hooper and CAIR make an appearance in this story.
A minority of Muslims take second wives, said Ibrahim Hooper, a spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, who added that Islamic scholars would differ on whether one could do so while living in the United States.
Notice he doesn't condemn bigamy (which is against the law in the U.S.)--just comments on its validity within Islam.

That’s the problem with converts. If she’d been raised right it wouldn’t have been an issue...

Yeah, $8 million, after lawyers took their cut. Doesn't look like they were managing their money too well though. Wifey said they were worth $6 million, and he's said to be a "real estate developer". Where did the $2 Million go?
I'd love to know more about the malpractice case. How much difference is there between treatment for ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease? I thought they were pretty similar ailments. Perhaps I'm just cynical, but it sounds to me like an opportunity to profit when his daughter simply and sadly was born with a severe GI problem which ultimately proved fatal.

QUite frankly, I like the fact that Bill O is as obnoxious as he is at times. Calls people on the carpet from both sides. Society has become too P.C. We need people like Bill O mucking it up. Its his show, has high ratings for a reason, and he can run as he see’s fit.

Islam = mental sickness
If you mean the husband for taking two wifes I agree. If you mean the woman, well that has nothing to do with Islam. My wife might very well do the same to me under that circumstance.
