Tragic story involving a naive American girl and illegal Mexican aliens. My sympathy for the victim is mitigated by the fact that she was interested in one of the Mexicans. I know she's young, but I knew better 5 years younger than her.

Perhaps, but you also had different, much better circumstances growing up too. I'd guess since you're a FReeper that you grew up in a home with morals? Maybe with parents who aren't criminals?

Well, my experience growing up has been mixed. Things were bad, then good, then bad again. My parents are not religious or moral people. They are not criminals but definitely not role models. They were more of a negative role model, if anything. I tried everything I could to be not like them. I guess negative role models have their use. No one was really there for me. I had to take care of myself at an early age. Maybe not everyone can do that, but when you play with fire, you get burned.

This little girl never stood a chance, given the family she had. She didn't deserve to die.

She did NOT deserve to die, but open up the newspaper and turn on the TV. Who are the ones committing the crimes? Obviously, there are alot of Mexicans in her neighborhood. Just observe, what do you see?

She got the hots for some (illegal???) Mexican dude and lost her life. The problem is, girls just love the dangerous types.

I am not familiar with her neighborhood, but it doesn't look too good. I too have lived in neighborhoods heavily populated by (illegal???) Mexicans. I check six all the time (i.e., watch my back). One time, there was this meth lab right across from where I lived.

Well, that's a surprise. I figured anyone with the name of wesley_windam-price was bound to be a blood blue man. LOL! You're fortunate that you were able to make it through with no role models. ;o) IF you are a man, then there is NO comparison to how you grew up and that of a young girl.

That doesn't mean anything. I live in NM where the legal population of Hispanic/Mexicans is 48%, so you know there's a lot of illegals here with their relatives. They commit a lot of crime but so do white/black and native Americans. IF she would have had someone to guide her in the right direction, chances are that she would not have ended up raped and dead.

I disagree with you. There was no way in this world that she could have known these guys would rape and murder her.

That wasn't her neighborhood. She was visiting her sister so she really had no way of knowing what the neighborhood was like. Since they lived next door and were invited to the party, the girl probably figured that the others knew them and that they were OK. Suffice to say, a lot of people failed this girl. She was only 15 years old. She might have barely turned 15 too. IF she would have had stability in her life, she would no doubt still be alive. As far as the Mexicans go, I hope they execute them. Of course, I know that's never going to happen because elPresidente Boosh wouldn't allow it.
