This is a nice article. Let’s hope he has a good showing in Iowa.

Like Paul or not, he keeps things stirred up. And both parties could use someone to come along and pee in their champagne. :)

He needs to. Failing to come in 3rd or better is real bad news considering how much effort he's put in there (and the fact that several front-runners are skipping it).

In endless e-mailings or phone calls to talk shows, Paul's fans blame an insidious conspiracy to muzzle the "truth."Is this the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy or a Vast Left Wing Conspiracy? Or are they in it together? That's it, they're all alike... no difference...

The media is ‘noticing’...and recalling Howard Dean in 04.

Geeks and other smart people can understand him. It’s the simpletons that just can’t get passed the knee jerk reactions the status quo have been pounded into their heads over the years.

So I want to reach out and help with the Media.
Need a slogan though...
Got it.

In endless e-mailings or phone calls to talk shows, Paul's fans blame an insidious conspiracy to muzzle the "truth." Why does this sound more like a self fulfilling conspiracy, just working the other way to delude them into thinking there is more support than there is?

Yep, I suspect he probably wrote about McCain in 2000 in similiar light.

His stunning inconsistencies would have made it a landslide for Bush.

Speak for yourself.
The sad thing is this Professional Geek understands him, and his ideas are almost great, but that ones that come up short are dangerous...
Which makes it fun of course.
I also know that Star Trek is not a documentary and they really are not out to get us...

Heh, I got all three of those. The yard sign, the short wave and the bunker.
I’ll have to fire up the old short wave and see if anyone is talking about Paul. It’s been a while.

He hasn’t put in that much effort. He’s a one man campaign. Come on now. No advanced team, opposition research. He relies on the internet. Now Romney has a virtual army of people on the ground. He’s spent over a million dollars on this straw poll.

“but that ones that come up short are dangerous...”
I understand your concern, we live in a dangerous world. It goes back to that Safety vs. Liberty thing for me. I haven’t seen another candidate that isn’t willing to sell out the liberty part on behalf of the safety net.

Rue Paul is a fruitcake.
He has his nutty supporters are trying to get publicity by suing the organizers of the Iowa straw poll.
They go to all the on line polls and blogs and pump him up.
