"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Anyone else notice the left has stopped calling it “global warming” and switched to “climate change”. I guess they got tired of being laughed at everytime a record cold temperature was reached in someplace that is supposed to be baking. Or someplace experiences flooding, that was supposed to be bone dry.
My sister is a meteorologist who says man caused global warming is BS. But what does she know? It’s not like she’s a journalist.
Why that would make one think it’s more propaganda than science.

Statist buearacrats have long wanted additional tax revenues on consumption so they are likely suspects and/or a “UN Tax”. Under the aegis of “Climate Change”, all manner of nonsense can be foisted on the public. Likely be a “carbon tax”.
Well they are “progressive” after all.
If it’s well funded, where do I pick up my check???
Awwww... the author... a little goebel wannabe is upset... lying biotch!

FYI -
Citizens in Great Britain may soon be hit by a blitz of top secret green taxes to combat the socialist bogeyman called global warming, reports the Daily Mail.
Under this proposal, the government would grab billions of pounds of extra revenue by not telling motorists when gas prices go down. So everytime petro prices drop, the tax on petro would automatically rise. So rather than drivers seeing that extra savings in their pocket, the government would keep the price high and grab the extra money for itself.
Then theres talk of raising the annual road tax from a maximum of £210 to £5,000 in order to combat car use and ownership.
And a pay per mile tax could be added.
Next, Brits could see a washing machine tax, a dishwasher tax, a dryer tax, a lightbulb tax and an air travel tax.
Finally, the Tories plan to install spies in dustbins to impose a rubbish tax on households that throw away non-recyclable refuse.
The grand total of new taxes for a family of four would be an additional £1,163 per year.
For every dollar spent by global warming skeptics, there are 10,000 spent by global warming propagandists. That is where the real conspiracy is.
I guess because Mayor Bloomberg has presidential aspirations all New York City residents in my area have been mailed at taxpayer expense a glitzy and expensive brochure on hurricanes.Since I know of no hurricane HITTING NEW YORK CITY in my 70 years I immediately looked for the last hurricane to hit New York City. With all the Hurricane ‘facts’in this expensive brochure there was no mention of a hurricane ever hitting New York City.
Can we say "Big Green"?
I once looked into the follow-the-money claims made by the global warming alarmists. They are very lame. They go something like this: Exxon gave money to the Heritage Foundation or the CATO Institute. Shock and horror. Full disclosure, I too have occasionally given money to the Heritage Foundation and the CATO Institute. When Exxon Mobile gives to FreeRepublic, it’ll really hit the fan.
The amount given to free market think tanks is very small compared to the money given by the EPA for climate research. Every EPA dollar has a known purpose. One has to prepare a grant request to get the money. Most people are savvy enough to lean on anthropogenic global warming (AGW) in their request, which are then funded. This is science with an agenda. The few dollars that are given (freely and without taxation) to free market think tanks, might go to any purpose.
The only hurricane to strike New York City directly was in 1821. I think the Great Hurricane of 1938 was close enough to cause damage, but a great deal of land that is now heavily populated was then undeveloped. Things would be much worse today if a major storm were to hit there.
