Hi Dolly, No, I haven’t had any eye surgery...other kinds though. I just had a bad case of pink eye. My doctor thought it was the allergy type, not viral or bacterial. It has cleared up very well and I plan to get hair done today.

Wanted to mention again, those dog pictures of yours are better than ones published in magazines, the water splashing and just the love the dogs have for the water and of course, your love for your precious animals!

Doctor did find one little problem (not connected at this time with eye) my sugar is high and he said I had to watch my sweets and carbs. I have always drank lots of cokes, no more for me except diet ones. Its always something, isn’t it, but at least we are on the right side of the grass.LOL~~

Hi, Dolly - I'm getting things pretty much organized, and as for the fonts - I had made a cd of those extra, pretty fonts I like, fortunately, so that I don't have to go search through other web sites to find them. Also, my other pc did finally boot at the shop for the techs, and I asked them to burn a cd of some of the pictures and other data that I didn't have installation disks for. That has been a big help - it's the pits when they back up the WHOLE hard drive and then put it all on the new pc. Been there before - it takes much longer to get rid of all the stuff you DON'T need!

Hope we're ALL back up to speed for a while now!

Billie, so glad to hear happiness with your new computer! They sure can drive you crazy when they don't mind~~ I have had lots of problems at times but thank goodness my son can work on it for me. Think this computer is 6/7 years old and I am surprised it is still in good shape. Tomorrow could be a different story, huh?

Indeed! I used my first and only other one for 10 years! Had it updated and repaired many times, but they could always fix it. Was really frustrating to have one less than two years old 'die' and they couldn't 'fix' it because the part they needed was "obsolete"!

You're doing great with your picture posting! Gets easier, doesn't it. :)

Never looks the same in preview here as it does when it's posted on the forum - think mostly because the preview box in the comment posting thingie is smaller than the actual comments posted on the forum. :(

I just looked at your source code, and it looks like you typed your comment, immediately followed by the command for the image without making a paragraph break. The only way to be sure your image is going to be "by itself" in your comment post is to add the <p> after your text and before your image. If you want it centered after your text, then you also have to "tell" it to center, by using the <center> command after the <p> (paragraph) command.

Don't let it frustrate you - just keep posting them - it'll be second nature soon. :)

I am, too! Thank you, Meggsie! I've been just scanning through some of the threads I've missed the last few days. Pretty, pretty posts you've made as we've come to expect from you. :)

You mentioned still not being able to resize photos I think, and that surprises me. (In bytes, I'm guessing?) Try the link below - I used to have it loaded on my computer, but have so many graphics programs, I eventually uninstalled it. It's a 'small' graphics editing program, free, and I'm pretty sure you can compress pictures in it. If you don't like it, of course you can always uninstall it. :)

Billie, I have picked my brain trying to decide what were some of your favorite things. Have you posted pictures of your dog/dogs before and maybe I missed them? I’d love to see them sometimes so post a picture for me!!

Billie, it is astonishing that a computer would die before two years. May not want to speak of brands but I would like to know “what” died and what did you decide to purchase? Bet you are happy playing with the new one. As far as all that transferring material, that is Greek to me. Thank God for Barry or I couldn’t afford the service calls I would have to make like the trouble I had one time with a virus. He worked one complete day fixing it and re-doing everything.
