Fred will be announcing the official start of his candidacy in early September (probably the 5th). Calendar creep should have no effect on that.

I gotta admit..I am shocked at how McCain still has 16% in the polls. Hopefully he will be dead broke by the end of this month and we can thin the herd. I want to see where that 16% breaks off to. My current guess is 9% to Romney 2% to Rudy and 5% to Fred Thompson knowing the make up of the current McCain voter.
