My Latin (and Greek) is decades old; what little I remember should be credited to a classical high school (and some ever-despairing professors!). (I do remember enough to go back to Caesar once in a while. My tag line came from an episode in the Gallic Wars ...)
The French is more recent. I acquired a smidgen while working in France.
