I know, but ain’t it pathetic that he, who had some time in as a Senator and left government to go back to show business and now thinks he might like to be president, can get anywhere in this election. What kind of a place are we running here when he can get so far ahead of DUncan Hunter? I wasn’t always a Hunter supporter, but I am now. I just can’t seem to muster up any faith in Thompson; I don’t think he is serious.

True, but don't forget he entered with much better name/face recognition than virtually any other candidate. We'll see how he handles the pressures of the stump.
