Tony Perez - a class act. One the Reds traded him... the Big Red Machine was no more. Sad day!
I still remember where I was when I heard that he was traded.
It was on that day that I (1) learned pro sports is a business and always has been a business; and (2) lost a tremendous amount of interest in the Reds. I was literally heartbroken.
