Very eloquent phrasing, FF. Nicely done!

Mr. Aaron, although I can't count the times he beat up my Cardinals, was absolutely and always 100% a VERY classy man. (Rather like Musial, if I may say so.)

Ditto for me - Cards fan as kid and remember feeling some positive emotion when Hank did it - NOTHING now for BB and made no attempt to watch it - means nothing to me except the non-stop coverage can allow everyone to reflect on what a jerk he is, and review his size from decade to decade. *******

They’re not your Cardinals, they’re mine! :) Tough year this year.

The first home run I ever saw, which took place during the first game I went to, was at old Sportsman Park back in the day and was hit by Henry Aaron. I still go by the old park site on Grand every couple of years. BTW, my father and grandfather were at Musial’s first game.
