I heard some time ago, that certain sound waves have the effect of making people need to relieve themselves. I understood that it was very effective in campus riots. This was a long time ago and I cannot recall where I heard that.
It would be pretty effective, even though messy. It’s awfully hard to resist nature when it calls.

The other thread had a reference to playing the "brown note" so I looked it up on Wikipedia. Sounds like some serious research work, including Myth Busters, had a go at it, but none of the experiments, involving sub-sonics at high dB levels, ever seemed to do more than cause a vague feeling of dread.
Robert Heinlein even mentioned this concept in Sixth Column.
