Very kewl!!! So happy to see this!
God bless Proud Patriots and their mission!
There are so many of us that have taken a ‘name’ (or two or three) to sponsor. We know how it feels to drive to the store, walk down the isles, and wonder, “Could he/she use THIS?” We know how it feels, when the clerk says something like, “Wow! You sure must like Cup ‘O Noodles, Top Ramen and beef jerky!”, and we proudly tell her it’s for our troops. We know how it feels to take those bags home, and try to fit it all in one box, hoping the chocolate doesn’t melt all over everything. We know how it feels, as we tape up the box and write that name on the lable, as we say another prayer for our special Service Person who is serving our country. We know how it feels, to take that box to the post office, and have the clerk tell us this was the 50th package she mailed to our troops today. And, we know what it means in our hearts, to have that Service Person in our prayers constantly, along with all of those serving our country.
And, we thank Proud Patriots, (and other organizations, too), that give us “our” troop’s name - but most of all........we thank those who are proudly wearing the uniform with pride. We can’t do enough for any one of you! We humbly thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Now, there's a real dichotomy - we thank them for serving, and they thank us for caring for them enough to make that little sacrifice. A few goodies here, postage there, or a kind word when we see a uniform in our communities.
I met a young corporal quite by chance in Casa Grande. He was going to his wedding rehearsal...wearing a brace to support an injured leg...and when I thanked him for his service, he blushed. You could tell he was humbled, and yet at the same time proud of what he'd accomplished. So, the old warrior and the young warrior met, spoke, and parted...and the torch is passed from generation to generation as America's youth continue to show they truly are made of the right stuff.
Whoa yeah! Is THAT ever cool?

Hi, Beachie.
A FRiend tells me we’re already getting hits from the article. This has evidently been re-reported in 2 or 3 other venues!
We need to find a millionaire relative or two to help with the postage.
Millionaire BUMP! :)
If I hit the lottery, that would be me! ;->
Ditto!
