You just can’t own enough 1911s. Absolutely my favorite sidearm - there is a great choice of models and they are as dependable as the sunrise every morning. I’ve got a Taurus PT1911 which I’ve run about 1000 rounds through this summer without a hitch or a hiccup.
Yeeeehaw.
All kidding aside - a well rounded selection of weapons helps a person through those dry spells of popular calibers.
Every collection should have some .303, .30, .308, .30 carbine, 8mm, .22, .223, 7.62x39, 7.62x54R, 12 gage, .357 and .45.
