There's one vote that Rudy Giuliani definitely can't count on in his 2008 presidential bid: his own daughter's. According to Caroline Giuliani's Facebook profile, she's supporting Barack Obama..........Rudy and his two children, have a rocky relationship. After his third wedding, Giuliani stopped attending Caroline's high-school events..... he went to her graduation (after declaring his candidacy for president), and left without speaking to her and did not join in the family celebration, according to news reports.

When Rooty at the debate said he could not sum up his mistakes in 30 sec---chances are he meant his present wife.

you really don't get it do you? the ex-spouse's loathsomeness is irrelevant. the divorce is irrelevant. the fact that he was PUBLICLY WHORING while still married and holding office is relevant, and will be his downfall. it is indicative of extremely poor judgment and unmitigated arrogance.
let me say this. i was only dimly aware of rudi's sordid personal history while he was mayor. i didn't follow it, as it wasn't particularly relevant to me. if i wasn't fully aware of it, as someone who is more politically attuned than say 90% of so of the populace [as is the case with any freeper], i assure you that the majority of the populace STILL isn't aware of it, all of which is of public record. it's just coming out now with these recent stories. i saw a poll from an AOL story that lists 57% see judi as a liability to rudi's campaign.

Some of us on FR just believe that vows made before God are to be kept “for better, for worse” and all that.

irrelevant, counselor, even if we stipulate she was born loathsome. the proper sequence is to divorce the loathsome spouse before undertaking the public whoring. rudi didn’t think that was necessary.
Didn't he ditch the last one during his last run against Hillary, back in 2000.

May 2008, Hillary is up over the former mayor 20 points
August 2008, GOP delegates consider not voting for Rudy at the Convention.
His type is so predictable----coupla cheap feels, a little heavy breathing, maybe 1-2 quickies standing up against the wall, and the guy thinks he's in love.
Doesn't bode well for his decision-making abilities that he couldn't figure out she was 'loathsome' BEFORE he married her.
i just realized that one of my best friend’s daughters is going to be a freshman at Harvard this fall. she will be in Caroline’s class there. LOL!

Seeing that Rooty is the type who is no good without a warm woman beside him, no doubt he’ll ditch the “stone-cold miner’s daughter” and take up with something more hot to trot.

The voters are left with the scraps and will have to choose the lesser of two evils, unless they want to end up with the worse of two evils. But vote we must.
