IT WILL BE A LITTLE BIT BETTER NOW WITH THE DEMOCRATS NOW IN CHARGE OF OVERSIGHT. But you know, for top level policy there’s not a whole lot of difference between the two policies so a real investigation isn’t going to happen. But I think we have to keep pushing for it. AND LIKE YOU AND OTHERS, we see the investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on.

That is an easy one, although you and the rest of the republicodhimmis here won't be able to choke it down. Ron Paul, like me, and like historical conservatives IS NOT slave to the idea that "republicans are good and democrats are bad." He rather believes in the corruptibility of all people, especially those in power. He believes, like me, that the recent Republican congress was only better than the scum on the left side of the aisle by a matter of degrees, not by nature. They were crooked, corrupt, lying, dissumulating power grubbing thieves. If the 9/11 tragedy had occurred under a dem watch, they would have busted their collective gonads howling for an investigation of why such a thing should have been allowed to occur. Because it did not, they had no interest in anything that might be impartial and might reflect on their unsullied republican angel wings.

The sad thing about that is the the REAL kool aid drinkers, the republibots here, are so stupid they just swallow it down without a second thought. The fact is that we are USUALLY better off with our executive, legislative and judicial powers divided than united. Less evil is able to be accomplished......, or covered up.

The truly sad thing about all this is the mindless braying of the current generation of republicans who are convinced that they are true blue patriots because they pull one lever (by the way, I can't recall ever voting for a democrat in a major election) because REPUBLICANS ARE GOOD AND DEMOCRATS ARE EVIL. Let me say again that I believe those people are NOT conservatives, they are NOT patriots, and they are NOT defenders of the values we were founded on (number one of which was liberty, which demands limited power in gov't).

What he (Ron Paul) said was reasonable, rational, true, and consonant with 200 + years of political history in the USA. It only sounds like some horrific epithet of blasphemy to one who has convinced himself that democrats are evil (no problem there!) AND that Republicans are virtuous. This is tomfoolery and piddle. It is the arrested logic of a four year old and the simplistic pious drivel of one who wishes there were white hats and black hats and the secret is aligning with the white hats. The truth of the matter is that all of them are grey. Ron Paul caucuses with the Republicans because [drumroll here for the dhimmi crowd] AT PRESENT THEY HAVE A PLATFORM WHICH DOES LESS HARM TO FREEDOM. They are not the saviors of our culture, nor of our heritage. People who put their trust in them are fools. They are fallible and failed, corruptible and corrupt men and women. If there is one element of the true blue faithful on FR which is simply howlingly stupid, it is the insistence on posting this kind of nonsense.

The best you can say for this crowd is that they are traditional values fascists. The very fact that you would have to ask such a mindless question and be goggle eyed in horror that someone would say such a thing shows that you have not only drunk the kool aid, you are immersed in it and looking at the world through the pitcher.

Our founders were wiser than this, and would have been aghast at such idiocy.

I went ahead and pinged the admin, because I am curious to see if this is to be branded heresy among some of the communicants only, or having such ideas are truly inimical to free republic itself. If such statements are grounds for a ban, I guess it is better to know now. It is the root of any disagreement I have had with anyone on FR, and if it is intolerable, better to know now, I guess.

Only if you believe that the Dems who want this investigation into 9/11 are honest, trustworthy, and interested in having a thorough, non-biased investigation. Are you?

Ron Paul, like me, and like historical conservatives IS NOT slave to the idea that "republicans are good and democrats are bad." LOL! I don't know how you can speak for historical conservatives, but I have no doubt that you and Paul agree that democrats aren't bad. When it comes to things like surrendering to the enemy, getting high, getting abortions, getting hookers, etc., you guys think democrats are pretty darn KEWL! It wasn't necessary for you to explain that to me, but thanks for sharing!

A few questions for your little self serving soap box rant.

1) Ron Paul has been in Congress how long? Yet he is not corrupt, even though he too is a politician — and a Republican one to boot. He can be trusted to tell you what you want to hear and no more, and he sure has no problem sucking up to whatever crowd he is in front of, including the “truthers.” Of course he isn’t one and is amazed that he has been called one as he had no idea who Alex Jones was, or who is audience primarily is. Yeah we want that level of dumbass as CIC, absolutely.

2) It will be a little bit better now with the Democrats now in charge of oversight.... are you kidding me right now? There is absolutely no way that is acceptable at any level. You do know who the majority leaders are no? or did that little tidbit escape you as reality seems to have.

Your little comments about good and evil with regard to politics is too amusing as it is hypocrisy to the max with you “real conservatives.” Abolish the IRS, DOE, etc. — when we all know (well, those of us who live in the real world that is) that this has no shot in hell of ever passing. Political compromise is how things get done in Washington, and you attack GWB every chance you get because he does it. Yet it is Paul and only Paul who recognizes in the good in Democrats. Too.Dang.Funny.

3) We know what happened on 9/11 and leading up to it (something about a hick from Arkansas drawing lines in the sand up to the doors of the Twin Towers....). Aside from Able Danger (and honestly, I want that to be investigated to seal Billy-Jeff’s fate in History as the biggest POS CIC this country has ever had), we know what went wrong and where it went wrong. You need a refresher course on that sport you let us know and we will happily walk you down that path.

4) Historical conservatives? that I will laugh at for a good long while. America First Committee/Ron Paul — hmmm....I can’t tell the difference. [rolling eyes]
