If you believe the 9/11 Commission wasn’t used to shield information, than YOU are in the minority (or very slim majority) on FR. Period.

FR had been hounding Gorelick for over 9 years now, and her work on the commission was the culmination of a decade of her ideologically driven policy making and advocacy.

When the 9/11 Commission report was leaked, FR went ballistic with the garbage in the report. Don’t try to deny the grassroots position held by at least a large plurality, if not majority, of posters on this website.

If you think that having a Dem investigation into 9/11 will be impartial and fair and be completely honest and thorough, you are as kooky as RP.

Freepers had problems with Jamie Gorelick and others covering up the impacts of dems and Clinton in particular in weakening our country so 9/11 was even easier to pull off. That is correct. However that is a completely separate matter from what is being discussed by this caller and Ron Paul. Paul is responding to a caller who doesn't even believe 9/11 was a terrorist attack and yet Paul didn't distance himself from that bizarre perspective. Paul said in response "we see the investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on." No real explanation?

In the context of the caller's question it appears Ron Paul is not satisfied on whether 9/11 was a terrorist attack or not. That, in itself, puts Ron Paul in the lunatic fringe category. Even the dem Presidential candidates are not debating that we experienced a terrorist attack.

Sure the commission didn’t do a very good job, but they sure as hell didn’t cover up a MIHOP/LIHOP conspiracy by the administration.

Believing that a commission crammed with establishmentarian Clintoon leftists and apologists and with country club "let's make a business deal with our country's enemies" RINOs will lie through its teeth is one thing. Believing the wild fantasies of paleoPaulie the surrenderman (much less supporting him for POTUS) and other Truthers is quite another.

You certainly are not arguing, are you, that many here support the windtunnel pacifist dipstick from Galveston because each poll offered by JimRob here has proven otherwise? We are heavily conservative and not libertoonian and certainly not paleopantywaists like TrutherPaulie or his pal Cuckoocinich.
