What happened to that Iraqi Air Force senior officer who disappeared at Maxwell while attending the Air War College?

What aircraft are in the IAF’s inventory? C-130’s? MiG’s?

Don’t know the answer to either of your questions.

Right now, they have 3 C-130E’s, around twenty light recon/patrol aircraft, and about the same number of helicopters (mostly Hueys, Mi-17’s, and Jet Rangers), but they are hoping to add some attack helicopters and ground-attack aircraft in the near future.

Also getting Cessna 172s for basic trainers. Contract announced 3 Aug. The Jet Rangers are their basic Helo Trainers and are being transfered to the forming Iraqi Air Force Flight Training School. Means that 12th Sq will probably convert to Mi17s.
