I really don't care if someone smokes in any area, allowed or not allowed. If I did, I would go to the local authority for the venue, since I have no authority there, being just a user or customer like everyone else.

The young lady probably learned a valuable lesson: life is not like the movies. You get in someones face with lip (as is ubiquitous in film stories) they are not likely to follow the expected script.
