Rudy is a Catholic? I think of a terrorist in Baghdad donning an American soldier's uniform to pass for an American. Does that make him an American soldier?

The other day I opened a box of eggs I found way in the back of the fridge. When I cracked one into the frying pan, it splayed all over, black, as I gagged and held my breath. Anyone who has done this will understand. Why did I think of this? Thanks, wagglebee, for the thread.

Des Moines, IA (LifeNews.com) -- As the only pro-abortion candidate in the GOP race for president, Rudy Giuliani can't get away from the issue of abortion. But walking away from a question about it was just what he did on Tuesday when he refused to answer a question from an Iowa resident about how his Catholic faith relates to his abortion position.

The former New York City mayor has been dogged by questions about abortion and pro-life Catholics have said he is out of step with the Church because he thinks abortions ought to be legal.

Rudy Giuliani Refuses to Discuss How His Catholic Faith Relates to Abortion

The better question is why did you feel the need to share your disgusting experience with the rest of us?!

....Rudy is a Catholic?

Unfortunately, like too many Catholics Rudy is associated with a religion and not with the bridegroom of the church, Jesus. That holds true for many Protestants, also, who hold The Bible as truth, yet, do not follow it's teachings. Jesus is The Way, The Truth, The Life. They lean on what 'they think' on any given subject and do not have a renewed mind - the mind of Christ.

can't understand, either, why some Catholics find evolution acceptable when it's in total opposition to God's Word.

Politicians want/need to be liked by a majority of people - so they live under a PC umbrella. But a man of faith knows he and God are a majority. God can open doors that no one could open or close, He can make a crooked path straight, make enemies your footstool, make a way where there is no way.

The bishop in Terri's diocese took his 30 pieces of silver and disappeared during the Terri's crisis while his boss, the ailing Pope, spoke out loudly in defense of life, Terri's life. So many went great distances, you for one, to stand up against evil, some at the risk of being arrested. If nothing else, seeing individuals stand up for goodness, should have put a spark under the 'religious leaders' and 'christian politicans'. There should have been masses of priests, cardinals, bishops demanding her feeding tube remain in tact - and stay in their face until all churches surrounded her cell. We have the power of God on our side and we use it not.

Terri's situation, IMO, was THE opportunity - the defining moment - for the church and any politician who believes to rise up where they belong - and crush evil. This was not a political battle but The Church's battle. It was 'our' time, the priests, cardinals, bishops, and ministers to rise up and take command over evil. And that includes any politician who used their religion to appear righteous for votes.

All that being said - when ANY politician says, I'm a Christian/Catholic - it carries no weigh with me anymore for they already proved they are weak and have no fruit.
