Err... ooops.... sorry all!
And I would also include those who dump their kids at daycare so that they can while their time away on the tennis courts or at the Bridge table.
How cute! Are they Goldens, or Yellow Labs?

Have you decided who the Keeper is going to be?
My friends who didn't get a puppy out of a Lab litter here locally (they were 9th pick and she only had 6 puppies) are getting a pup out of a very nice HRCH line out of North Carolina. Looks like it's going to be a yellow male. They got 3rd pick on this litter because somebody gave up his place in line to my friends.
Golden retrievers, about 2 weeks old.

Oh, that oughta be nice, are you going to get to train with them?
Thanks, they are making me crazy, they cried all night last night. They are nice and quiet in the daytime, sleep, etc, and then at night....they turn into weregoldens!

My daughter calls her the Weasel Dog.
That's Tori on the right, and a much younger and pudgier Ruby on the left. Tori has been having some soundness problems lately, but it seems like she's pretty well recovered now. Still, she's 6 years old and has her HRCH already, I think they feel like it's time to start another dog along . . . . < g >
I had really good luck with a whiney Ruby by playing a radio for her. She still got us up at 5:30 a.m. for a long while, but that was because she didn't want to wet her crate. Now she can hold it all night long. She has turned out to be a ferocious chewer . . . we put her to bed with two Nylabones and an elk antler, but still had to get her the Orvis 'chew proof' bed, then she managed to unzip the zipper. So I sewed the zipper flap down, and that seemed to stop her, at least temporarily.
Weasel dog, now thats funny!
No, they won’t be black, and they’d better have more hair. I hope they would fetch a bird, but I doubt they would have as much style as your lab.

She tested into Intermediate Obedience last week (much to MY shock!) I put her into the only puppy obedience course I could find awhile back, she did o.k., but now I've got her with the best school in town. She definitely needs more work. She had her first puppy retrieving seminar Saturday (where the water pictures were taken) and she did fine, but she was nonplussed by live pigeons and hid behind Mama. Definitely got to get her some recently deceased ducks . . . .
If that bed is really chew proof, I should get one. Pauli doesn’t chew much, but if it’s stuff she’ll gut it! Oh, bad girl! Poor thing, she can’t have any stuffed toy or a bed.
Can I find them on the orvis website?

Ruby has no undercoat that I can find, and the thinnest, slickest, oiliest topcoat ever. When she's wet, she looks like a black seal. She's about 1/4 conformation, but that line is what they call "dual purpose" - and has some hunting dogs in the background too. She sure didn't get anything from that side except her very correct head. Shelley has a pretty good body but her head is all field - long and snipey. If we swapped the bodies, we'd have one field dog and one conformation dog.
It's almost too high loft to use as a crate pad, but after they lie on it awhile it packs down to a reasonable level. It comes in round or rectangular.
It's been great for Ruby because she's so bony she was wearing the hair off her elbows lying on a little thin sheepskin that for some reason she doesn't like to chew.
Then they are super cute! Are they yours?
Oh yikes, a little pricey!
Of course, at that price, if they do chew it up I’ll have to get them a job so they can pay me back!

At the moment, yes. :)
