I spoke to Tim within the last month. He felt that the Terri Schaivo incident was the most important social issue of our time.

Bless him for speaking for Terri. She probably gave him a big hug and smile when he entered through Heaven's gate.

Tim and I went out to lunch on a regular basis when my mom was dying. He was great. We always eventually changed the subject to politics which was a wonderful distraction.

Tim worked for the National Review for years, I'm not sure that's common knowledge.
